 | 2024-02-04 - The Mezza maratona internazionale delle due perle is a half marathon immersed in one of the most beautiful area in Italy: on one side, the sound of the sea, on the other the green pines of the local mountains. The route, relatively flat, with interesting curves and very light gradients, is however technical.  | 2024-01-21 - Runners will get a close look of the beautiful Gallinara island when taking part in the Trail della Gallinara run, held on the mountains surrounding the Ligurian city of Albenga, near Savona, and winding through a very panoramic 27k course overlooking the sea. The island is now protected as a shelter for the herring gull, with one of the largest colonies of this bird in the Mediterranean, and for rare plant species and stretches of intact shallow sea floor.  | 2023-09-03 - Borgio's old downtown stands atop a low hill, while Verezzi is divided into several very characteristic hamlets on the hillside, at some 200 meters (660 feet) above sea level.  | 2022-08-07 - The Marcia mare e monti di San Lorenzo is held in Framura, at a short distance from the renown Cinque Terre. You can choose to run or walk either the 6k or the 12k course. The event starts from the San Lorenzo church.  | 2022-05-01 - The Corri sul mare (Run along the sea) scheduled in Levanto, near La Spezia is a competitive event with a 4k and a 12.7k course. The town is on the coast at the end of a valley, thickly wooded with olive and pine trees.  | 2018-08-31 - The Marcia del villeggiante is a fun run dedicated - as its name says - to those that are still vacationing in the small town of Sant'Olcese, in the Liguria region, a few miles north of Genoa.
