 2021-03-28 - The Trail Monte di Portofino will offer participants the possibility of running on the green pines rich mountains of the Regional Natural Park of Portofino (only fifty miles away from the world-renown Cinque Terre area). It is a gorgeous 26.2k trail.

 2020-08-09 - The Marcia mare e monti di San Lorenzo is held in Framura, at a short distance from the renown Cinque Terre. You can choose to run or walk either the 6k or the 12k course. The event starts from the San Lorenzo church. Featuring a coast of vertical rocks, holm-oaks, pinewoods and vineyards, old marble quarries, cliffs, and small pebbly beaches, Framura is also a few kilometers away from the quaint village of Portofino.

 2020-03-15 - The Corri sul mare (Run along the sea) scheduled in Levanto, near La Spezia is a competitive event with a 4k and a 12.7k course. The town is on the coast at the end of a valley, thickly wooded with olive and pine trees. The municipality forms part of the coastal district known as the Comunità  Montana della Riviera Spezzina, and part of its territory is included in the Cinque Terre National Park.

 2020-02-02 - The Mezza maratona internazionale delle due perle is a half marathon immersed in one of the most beautiful area in Italy: on one side, the sound of the sea, on the other the green pines of the local mountains. The route, relatively flat, with interesting curves and very light gradients, is however technical. It departs from Santa Margherita Ligure and takes place in one of the most suggestive scenery in the world, with breathtaking views, including Portofino, the fishing village and vacation resort famous for its picturesque harbour.

 2020-01-12 - Runners will get a close look of the beautiful Gallinara island when taking part in the Trail della Gallinara run, held on the mountains surrounding the Ligurian city of Albenga, near Savona, and winding through a very panoramic 27k course overlooking the sea. The island is now protected as a shelter for the herring gull, with one of the largest colonies of this bird in the Mediterranean, and for rare plant species and stretches of intact shallow sea floor. Along with the beautiful vista, the running event allows the participants to experience traveling along a portion of the ancient Roman road Via Julia Augusta, built in 13 bC to connect the Italian city of Piacenza with the French one of Arles.

 2018-08-31 - The Marcia del villeggiante is a fun run dedicated - as its name says - to those that are still vacationing in the small town of Sant'Olcese, in the Liguria region, a few miles north of Genoa. In addition to a nice 7k course, all participants will receive one delicious "salame di Sant'Olcese", the traditional pork and beef salami flavored with garlic and black pepper.

 2017-05-07 - Borgio's old downtown stands atop a low hill, while Verezzi is divided into several very characteristic hamlets on the hillside, at some 200 meters (660 feet) above sea level. The third edition of the Vertical Verezzi is a 6k, mostly uphill event, connecting the two places, located in the province of Savona, on a course that offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean sea.
