 2018-04-29 - The Chia Laguna Half Marathon is a spectacular sea view international half marathon that takes place in Chia, near Cagliari, in the south of Sardinia. The stunning 13.1 miles course on closed roads takes in the island's world-famous coast surrounded by the green of the Mediterranean vegetation, turquoise sea, white sand dunes and a lagoon hosting pink flamingos. The event includes a competitive 10 kilometers race as well as 5 kilometers fun run.  2017-06-03 - The course of the Caprera half marathon starts on the island of La Maddalena, and crosses over a bridge to the neighboring island of Caprera. Caprera is a small island off the coast of Sardinia, named after the numerous wild goats ("capre" in Italian) living on it. The area is a tourist destination and is famous as the place to which Giuseppe Garibaldi (one of the fathers of the Italian independence) retired in 1856.

 2017-05-12 - The Sardinia Trail in Ogliastra is an ultratrail between mountains and sea, famous for crossing unique landscapes, among the most beautiful and varied of the Mediterranean sea. Divided into three stages for a total of about 100 kilometers and 4000 meters of ascent, the course goes from the highest peak on the island, Punta La Marmora, on the Gennargentu mountain, to the white beach of Perd'e Pera on the coast along mule tracks, routes and steep passages.

 2017-03-05 - The Trail dei Marganai trail is a 25k and a 45k event in the forest between Domusnovas and Iglesias, on the island of Sardinia. Not a long time ago this area was well known for its minerals and, even if the landscape is strongly marked by mining facilities and villages, it still preserves its original natural beauty, featuring archeological remains of the prehistorical civilization and a temple dating back to the Carthaginian-Roman time, known as the temple of Antas, dedicated to the local divinity Babai.
