 2018-08-18 - The Raiffeisen 3/4 mezza maratona is held in Brunico, the largest town in the Puster Valley in the Italian province of South Tyrol. More than 80% of the population here speaks German, 15% Italian and the remaining use the minority language called Ladin. The race measures three-fourths of a half marathon, that is 17.6k. The start is at 5 in the afternoon.

 2018-07-14 - The Giro Lago di Resia is held in Curon, on the shores of the Reschensee, an artificial lake in the western portion of South Tyrol, between the borders with Austria and Switzerland. The lake is famous for the steeple of a submerged 14th-century church. The race is 15.3k, one loop of the lake, and starts at 5 pm. The entries are limited to 3000 participants.

 2018-07-01 - The Alpe di Siusi Half Marathon is held in Castelrotto, near Bolzano, in the German-speaking region of South Tyrol. The "Alpe di Siusi Half Marathon" on Europe's largest mountain pasture is a fascinating running event for its breathtaking scenery and a particular challenge due to its 601 meters of elevation gain. The run is limited to 500 participants.

 2018-03-25 - Run twice around the beautiful lake of Caldaro by running the local Mezza maratona Lago di Caldaro half marathon in Kaltern an der Weinstrasse (Caldaro on the Wine Road), a municipality in South Tyrol in northern Italy, southwest of the city of Bolzano. More than 90% of the population here speaks German. The cuisine combines Italian and Tyrolean styles. The nearby Dolomites area is known for its hiking and climbing routes.

 2018-01-06 - The Non Valley is the land of apples, grana cheese, castles, forests and... snowshoes. More than forty years ago the idea of a running race with snowshoes - "ciaspole" in Italian - started from the intuition of Alessandro Bertagnolli, the former director of the local turist office, and La Ciaspolada has now become the most popular event on the snow in all of Italy. It is an international 7k run on the white trails of the Trentino region. No snowshoes? No problem - you can rent them.

 2017-12-31 - Finish the year on December 31 with the traditional Corsa di San Silvestro, held in Bolzano, the main city of the German-speaking province of South Tyrol in northern Italy. It is a very competitive event (also invitational), with a 10k course for men and a 5k course for women, offering a unique chance to run against international stars and to compare your time with theirs.

 2017-07-01 - Runners participating in the Brixen Dolomiten Marathon will be impressed both by the fascinating historic city of Bressanone and by the adventure on the mountain in the hearth of the Dolomites, a Unesco World Natural Heritage site. This uphill and mostly offroad marathon starts from the central square of Bressanone (Brixen in German), 560 meters of altitude, and finishes near the snow-capped Italian Alpine Club shelter of Plose, 2450 meters high up in the mountains. All finishers will receive a T-shirt and a medal.

 2017-04-17 - The day after "Pasqua" (Easter), called "Pasquetta" in Italian, the Valsugana running club of Ospedaletto, near Trento, organizes the Trofeo di Pasquetta. It is a 5.5k and a 3.5k event starting at 1 in the afternoon from the city hall.

 2017-03-05 - Alpe Cimbra, an ideal location both for summer and for winter active holidays, with its breathtaking views sorrounding the peaks of the entire Alpine region, its pristine forests and the white snow-covered slopes, hosts the Dolomiti Winter Trail. The race starts in Lavarone, in the Trento province, and features a 20k and a 10k course on the snow. During the race weekend runners and their companions can take part to many other activities of the Dolomiti Winter Fest, such as courses, workshops, meetings and aperitifs in the snow.

 2016-08-20 - The Maddalene sky marathon is a fascinating skyrunning event on the Maddalene mountains, on the linguistic and cultural border between the Val di Non, the Deutschnonsberg and the Val d'Ultimo valleys in the Trentino Alto Adige region. The course starts from Senale and follows the Italian Alpine Club trail n. 133 - it is slightly longer than a marathon (44.2k) with a 3000 meters positive elevation and a 3200 meters negative elevation.
